E: Échappé

An escaping or slipping movement.
An Échappé is a level opening of both feet from a closed to an open position.

SYLLABUS REBOOT & NEW LEVELING STARTS MAY 1st

In recognition of all the great work that the C.Round Ballet Works students have been doing, it is time to change the levels to meet the talent. I’ve created an old vs. new level matrix below:

ADVANCED BEGINNING LEVEL ONE BALLET COURSE BEGINS MAY 5th

Congrats to those of you who have just finished the Beginning Ballet Course! Now it’s time to move on to our new Advanced Beginning Level Ballet One Course beginning Sunday, May 5th. This eight week course will go deeper into ballet basics to explore more complicated steps, turning, and jumping. The course will run Sundays from 10:00am – 11:30am from May 5th through June 30th (no class May 25th) with live accompaniment from Gerald, our very talented pianist. New students must register and purchase the whole course ($160.00). Current CRBW students may drop into classes using their class cards. Register here!

*Please note that all those taking the Advanced Beginning Level One Ballet Course must have either completed the Beginning Ballet Course or teacher approval.

ENJOY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND WITH A BALLET VACATION

Take a little ballet vacation at the end of May. No classes at CRBW from Saturday, May 25th through Monday, May 27th. All classes will resume Wednesday, May 29th. Enjoy yourself!

NEW VIDEO ON DEMAND COMING SOON

We will slowly be moving into some new video on demand classes, so you can take class whenever you like. The current video on demand is based on the old level matrix for the time being. We will switching to new videos within this next syllabus run.

As we are rebooting the syllabus, this would be a good time to use a private lesson to work on problem areas or push your technique to next level.
