GLISSADE
May be performed as a Petit Allegro travel step that is executed by doing a Battement Tendu Jete’ from a Plie’ in 5th position that propels into a jump that, for a moment, looks like a Saute’ in 2nd position and lands again in 5th position. It is possible for Glissade to be performed in all directions. It is important to remember to dig your heels firmly into the floor to activate the muscles in the thighs and get power to execute the step.
SO EXCITED TO BE GEARING UP FOR OUR ANNUAL
“CRBW ANTI-RECITAL FOR GROWNUPS” PERFORMANCE COMING JULY 18th & 19th
I can’t believe we are getting ready to prepare for our 3rd annual performance. So excited to get started on the rehearsal process and want to encourage those of you who have been consistently working on your technique at an Intermediate level for a period of one year or more to join us for this year’s performance. If you are not quite ready to perform onstage, but are still interested in participating, we would love for you to share your talents back stage or off stage for the show.
Please read through our Dancer Guidelines and fill out our Participation Survey to get the process rolling.
