D: DÉVELOPPÉ
Devéloppé means to develop the working leg upward through sur le cou-de-pied up to retiré and extending the leg outward to the front, side, or back.
It’s important to root down on the standing leg and shoulder blades, while continually lifting up in the abdominals and chest. This will give the stability and strength that you need to make the movement steady and beautiful.
BEGINNING BALLET COURSE ALMOST SOLD OUT
Only five spots left for our Russian Beginning Ballet Course starting tomorrow. This six week course gives you all the tools you need to dance with grace and beauty. The course is offered through the Pasadena City College Extension Program and runs Saturday mornings from 9:00am – 10:30am, November 11th, through December 16th, at Lineage Performing Arts Center.
